About SENtree Learning

About SENtree Learning

SENtree Learning was created by a UK home-educating parent with personal experience of autism and ADHD. It exists to provide calmer, simpler UK Functional Skills Maths and English and GCSE learning resources for children, teens and anyone who finds traditional approaches overwhelming.

Our Story

As a home-educating parent navigating autism and ADHD in daily life, I found that many learning resources were busy, cluttered and overwhelming. Lessons were too long, explanations jumped ahead, and there was little flexibility for learners who need a gentler pace.

SENtree Learning was built to change that. Every part of the app — from the soft pastel colours to the short, focused lessons — has been designed with calm and clarity in mind. The goal is simple: help learners build confidence step by step, without the overwhelm.

Whether you are a parent, a tutor or a learner yourself, SENtree Learning is here to support you on that journey.

Who It Is For

SENtree Learning is for home-educated learners, SEN learners, anxious or overwhelmed learners, and the parents and tutors who support them. It is particularly suited to learners who benefit from shorter lessons, clear language and a calm visual environment, with content designed around UK Functional Skills and GCSE learning.

What Makes SENtree Different

  • Short Lessons: Brief, focused lessons that fit around daily life and keep attention manageable.
  • Clear Explanations: Every concept is broken down into simple, step-by-step explanations.
  • Helpful Hints: Gentle prompts and hints guide learners when they need a little extra support.
  • Printables: Worksheets, notes and planners you can print to support learning away from the screen.
  • Reduced Overwhelm: A calm pastel design with plenty of white space, so learning never feels too much.

SENtree Learning is continuously growing, with new lessons, printables and activities being added over time. Your feedback is always welcome and helps shape what comes next.
